Battle of Golden Spatula is a game “co-dev” between Tencent and Riot Games. It’s a spin-off of Teamfight Tactices that launched in China on 26th August 2021.
Tencent’s NEXT Studios is the primary developer on the game.
A Golden Spatula is a reference to the legendary item from League of Legends which is no longer active in the game.
The game is exclusive to China and rumored to have been developed to help get approval for the game in China as a locally developed game vs. an “imported game” meaning relative to Teamfight Tactics.
